This post is out of order but we didn't want to miss the opportunity to properly thank Andi, Pete & Bex for helping out with Rachel while Simon/Dad and Deb were packing and organizing for the trip. As some of you know, we found out the provisional itinerary while Deb and Rachel were in CT and Simon was away on a Yellowstone road trip with Andi and Pete, which was about 10 days before we actually left. So the extra hands while we were sorting out the details and keeping Rachel entertained was much appreciated.
Best of all was the Toad in the Hole (sausage in Yorkshire pudding) with mashed potatoes, gravy and bread and butter pudding. (Yum!!) The "big kids" shopped, cooked, served and cleaned up. This has become a bit of a tradition when Andi and Pete visit and this summer Rachel was able to join in the cooking too. Thank you guys, we love you!!
