Saturday, July 11 - Meet rest of travel group (~20 families) - visits to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Acrobats Show
Sunday, July 12th - More Beijing Sightseeing, Church Service, Great Wall, traditional Peking Duck dinner.
Monday, July 13th - Day we meet Sarah!
Morning: fly to Shanghai, Afternoon: meet He Yong Ping (soon to be Sarah Thomas)
Tuesday, July 14th - Civil Affair Appointment
July 15th-16th - Paperwork and exploring Shanghai
Friday, July 17th - Flight to Guangzhou
Saturday, July 18th - Medical Exam
Sunday, July 19th - US Consulate Paperwork
July 20th-21st - More Sightseeing & Shopping
Wednesday, July 22nd - Consulate Appointment
Thursday, July 23rd - Pick up Sarah's US immigrant visa - depart by bus for Hong Kong
Friday, July 24th - Day in Hong Kong
Saturday, July 25th - Depart from Hong Kong to CA
Debbie and Simon: Thanks for the itinerary - so on Sunday July 12 I will be thinking you all and Sarah becoming a family!!!! I just joined as a blog follower I think - not sure what it means, but whatever!
ReplyDeleteThe swim lessons went well today - especially for Shelby - she's a little mermaid. Katie did well for about 10 minutes and spent the next 5 minutes calling "I want mama"...but the treats Miss Joanne gave them went over very well!
Shelby wanted to give a "shout out" to Rachel and her new soon to be sister in China - though Shelby says "I'm 5 and Sarah is only 4!" (her response when I told her she and Sarah were about the same age.) Katie wants to be from China too - she says "I from China" - which causes Shelby to correct her every time.
